Description

This is the red plastic cover that clips over the top of the positive battery terminal to protect is from water and rubbish that could cause poor connection on the positive terminal. Also it is to protect arcing from things like dipsticks as it is common to drop the dipstick on the terminal when working in the engine bay and cause a short which may blow a fusible link or similar. It is myuch safer to have this protecting the terminal and associated connections. This fits ALL GU Patrol models and is a NEW GENUINE NISSAN part.
